Born in Kaiserslautern in 1967, trained as a bank clerk, studied law at the University of Tübingen, joined the firm in 1998, admitted as a partner in 2002. Business mediator (DIRO), certified executor (DVEV), member of the German Association for Inheritance Law and Property Succession (DVEV) and the Inheritance Law Working Group of the German Bar Association.
Dr. Hammann has been working exclusively in the field of German and international inheritance and inheritance tax law since the late 1990s and regularly receives awards based on independent data surveys.
In addition to his recognized professional expertise and his ability to think clearly and in a structured manner, Dr. Hammann is distinguished above all by the empathy with which he is able to advise his clients "with heart and mind" and work out optimal solutions in their interests.

Co-founder and organizer of the Reutlingen Inheritance Law Forum and the Reutlingen Foundation Days.
Member of the Board of the Reutlingen Community Foundation and the Marienkirche Reutlingen Foundation (since 2001; Chairman of the Board since 2010).
Member of the Board of Trustees of the Christel Guthörle Foundation (since 2005) and the Dr. Rainer Märklin Foundation (since 2021).
From 2005 to 2009, full member of the "Specialist lawyer for inheritance law" examination board of the Tübingen, Karlsruhe and Freiburg Bar Associations.
From 2013 to 2019, member of the 7-person executive committee of the German Bar Association's Inheritance Law Working Group, which has over 2,000 members. As such, co-editor of the specialist journal ErbR.
Since 2021 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of VHS Reutlingen and its subsidiaries.
