Contents of the Innovation Day "MDR Dialog":
After a long prehistory, they are now in force: the new European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and the EU Regulation on In-Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices IVDR. In order to master the transition from the old regulations to the two directives, the IHK network ISO 13485 was formed in 2017. Since then, the quality management representatives (QMB) of regional medical technology companies represented in the network have been exchanging information on topics such as transport and packaging validation.
