The drafting of standard contracts (GTC) and the content of contractual agreements with customers or suppliers abroad require special attention (see the items "GTC" and "Export - Import" in the navigation menu).

However, individual contracts with domestic business partners also have their pitfalls: The parties often want provisions that are prohibited by law, such as exclusive supply agreements over many years. Even in well-formulated contracts, essential elements are often lost. For example, the best forecast agreement is worthless if the legal consequences of failing to meet the forecast quantity are not clearly discussed. Even "zero-defect agreements" read well, but in most cases it remains completely unclear what happens if the tolerance limit is not met.

VOELKER advises companies on the drafting and negotiation of simple and complex contractual relationships with customers, suppliers, development partners and service providers. In addition to the actual contracts, we advise on the inclusion and legal drafting of quality assurance and quality management agreements. We regularly work with the quality assurance departments of large and medium-sized companies to secure customer and supplier relationships. It goes without saying that we are also able to draft and negotiate contracts in English or other languages.
