Support in certificate of inheritance proceedings

A certificate of inheritance is an official document in which it is documented for legal transactions who has become the heir of a deceased person. If there is no notarized disposition of property upon death, a certificate of inheritance is required, for example, to have the land register corrected and to have the heir entered as the owner of the property included in the estate. Although the certificate of inheritance is generally only of declaratory significance, a large number of issues relating to inheritance law are already relevant in the certificate of inheritance proceedings. This is particularly the case if the succession as such is disputed. Even in the case of an inheritance that is initially unproblematic, difficulties can arise, for example, with regard to the credibility of the facts on which the certificate of inheritance is based and the procurement of the necessary evidence.
