Together for a strong community Christmas 2024 - Doing good together
"Käpsele" - a Swabian term of endearment for clever, smart and clever. With this conviction, Dr. Gerrit Hoetzel and Dr. Julian Bubeck from the VOELKER site in Stuttgart handed over a donation of 5,000 euros to Käpsele e.V. - Freunde helfen Kindern from Stuttgart. The association is committed to combating child poverty in the region and supporting needy children and underage young people. Direct, personal and effective - this is how help is provided when it counts.
Our location in Balingen also did some good over the Christmas period. Our donation went to Fairteiler Zollernalb e.V., which collects surplus food from businesses and makes it available at distribution points to reduce food waste and help people in need. The association also supports homeless shelters, women's refuges and steps in to help families in need at short notice. With our support, we wanted to make the holidays brighter for people in difficult life situations. The donation was presented jointly by our site manager Veronika Klein and her colleagues Nadine Kirsch and Eva Maria Binder.
Our Reutlingen team also made a valuable contribution at Christmas. Dr. Ulrike Brucklacher presented a donation of 5,000 euros to Arlette Zappi from the association MENSCHENKINDER e.V. The association has been helping children and young people from families with addiction and psychological problems since 1994. MENSCHENKINDER e.V. offers them places of refuge, raises public awareness and trains specialists. With our donation, we would like to support this commitment and help ensure that these people receive the attention and support they deserve.
Together with these organizations, we want to help ensure that our region remains a place of hope and cohesion.
